This Instructor's Guide has been developed to accompany Trucking: Tractor-Trailer Driver Handbook/Workbook. Used in conjunction with the Overhead Masters, the guide is designed assist instructors as they train students in the basics needed to drive a tractor-trailer. It is based on the Tractor-Trailer Driver Curriculum originally developed by the U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Highway Administration as described in their "Proposed Minimum Standards for Training Tractor-Trailer Drivers"(1985). It contains suggestions for the instructor to use when teaching each lesson, points to emphasize, and answers to all of the questions in the Learning Activities at the end of the chapter.
